I know we've all been there...great BG's and then a few weeks before endo and all hell breaks loose! Just venting.

I have a pretty good idea as to why we're wacky. Max got a nasty cold about 5 days before we went away on a 10 day vacation. While away, he developed an ear infection (from the cold) and was put on Zithromax. We don't technically go "unteathered", but "plug him in" every hour to give basal and for any boluses. Were getting highs at night, so I think when we go away to the beach again this summer, we'll do Lantus and pump boluses (first time).

So, with the cold, vacation, ear infection, etc....I hope we won't be too far off on A1c's. We're usually in the mid 6's,but I fully expect to be in the 7's. Still not bad for a 3 year old, but why does Murphy's Law have to happpen?? Ugh! We go next Wednesday.

We had all these horrible stuck highs after site changes... and his A1c went down. Go figure!
