Ok, so I was watching MTV...yikes, whaaaaat???....oh!!...ok, so, I was flipping through the channels and happened to stumble upon MTV (better??? Thanks :D) when I saw Brett Michaels in a very silly show called Rock of Love (don't ask:rolleyes:), and he was talking to some woman there about how he has juvenile diabetes since the age of 6 and has to give himself 3 to 4 shots per day....
Flipped to the next channel, VIVA (MTV-wannabe) and whose video is on???
The Jonas Brothers 'SOS' ! I've only heard of them on here, and had never heard one of their songs. Nice song, btw.
I thought, whoooaaa, way too much of a koinkidink (sp? ;-))...

Sadly, I've seen both seasons of Rock of Love. I've loved Bret Michaels for a loooong time. He insisted that his diabetes be part of the show, because it's such a big part of his life: any girlfriend/wife he has needs to know how to handle it. He was also on Don't Forget The Lyrics recently: half his winnings went to St. Jude, and the other half to JDRF. He is pretty awesome.

OK fill me in here, I have been hearing all this talk about the Jonas Brother's and Brett Michaels..What am I missing? Are they on Youtube?
Well, Brett Michaels is the hottest T1 ever - you know, from our childhood rock days...
And the jonas Brothers are the hot new group for our tweeners and early tweens and the youngest, Nick, is T1 using the Omni Pod - my 10 year old is IN LOVE (her words) with Nick!

I think I was 10 years old when my sister started obsessing with Poison, and I have loved,loved,loved Brett ever since.

We are huge Brett fans in our household and poison fans..
He signed a shirt and picture for my daughter because he found out she was a diabetic.. I think we go to every concert when it comes to MD/VA but without the 80's hair do... LOL:p

I am getting to go to the Poison concert when that come to birmingham in July. I am so excited. I love Poison.

I read about him in one of the diabetes magazines. He said he had the best hair extensions that money could buy. He took off his bandana a couple of times on the show, and the producers told him to put it back on. :)
