There is a little boy who is on the last bend on his journey battling AML. He was hospitalized yesterday and doctors didn't think he would make it through the night. His mom is a member on a shopping board that I am a member on. He was diagnosed a month before Christian was. His mom had such kind words of support for me even though she was going through so much worse. This family has handled this last year with such courage. Dylan has fought so hard every single.
Please pray that he and his family gets through this with the same courage and strength that they have fought this fight with.

I checked the site, very sad stuff. Thanks for sharing with us.. We will be praying for them.
I went to the site and left a message - what a tough thing for that family to go through!

Thank you. I don't know if I would have the strength. They actually just went on a wish trip a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. And now this. I just hope he goes peacefully.

I just went and checked and found this...I am so happy for them and will keep saying my prayers that he goes into and stays in remission!

I had checked earlier this morning and they said they thought he was going to be able to go home.. I'm glad.. This is great news.. I hope that he continues to get better.

I saw that today also. I really don't think the drs thought he would make it. They don't realize that he has a bunch of people praying for him. They have tried so many things to kick this but nothing has worked. At Christmas time they wanted to talk to the parents about just making him comfortable for a couple of weeks because there was nothing else they could do. Mom didn't stand for that and she fought to have other, I believe almost experimental, procedures done for her son and that is why he is still here now.
Thank you guys for the prayers. This is one very special little boy.

Just wanted you guys to know that they did a blood drive at my work today and I went and was able to donate blood.. I specified that I wanted it to go to children with cancer!!! :) I was soo excited to be able to give... Reading Dylan and the other childrens stories inspired me to do this..

Wow that is awesome. Good for you. I know I clicked on some of the links in the guest book and they were talking about funeral services. What a horrible disease.

I know some of you signed up to receive the blog posts and followed this little boy's struggle.
He passed away yesterday at 2:15.:( Please pray for this family during this very tough time.

That is so sad, what a courageous little boy.. he fought so hard.. What a tough time for the family, I can't even image, they will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers..
That is so sad. I have been visiting his blog about once a week - it just breaks my heart that he passed away.
