I hesitated in posting this, but here it goes...

Anyone suffer from this condition (hyperhydrosis)? If there is someone, please let me know what you have tried and what has worked.
I'm desperate...it's really embarrassing, but I've had this since the age of 5 or 6 and because of this, I totally hate warm weather, when my hands perspire ten-fold. I don't care if my feet do (I've learned which shoes to buy to absorb the perspiration and not make that awful squishy sound:o).
I've seen dermatologists. Have tried special creams, wearing plastic (thin) gloves to bed, talc, you name it. Only option is some kind of water/electrody treatment thing (forgot the name, sorry) or surgery to remove some of the sweat glands (which I've not done...yet).
In the winter, I still have it...often my hands are freezing cold and sweaty.
BTW, it does not just happen if I'm nervous or anxious, it happens anytime, anywhere.
Thanks for any help/advice.

I read somewhere that they can botox whatever part of your body sweats too much, and the toxin paralyzes your sweat glands i believe, but that might be too drastic.

I seen this on Oprah here while back. Her camera man or someone on her set had this. Asked the doc. that she has on her show about it. I think he said you could use a deoderant on it. (not sure really) maybe send an e-mail to them or look up past shows. It's been MAYBE within the last 4 weeks. and as far as the feet, Do you wear 100% cotton? I think that might help with the feet. I would also buy ONLY leather tennis shoes and NO man made materials. I know thats the only way i can go with my son on the shoes.
