I need some help with a report for school

Hey im 13. I have type 1 diabetes. Im doing a report on diabetes for health. What types of insulin do you take? and how you know when your low?

Novolog insulin
Low= blurred vision, weak, shaky

I don't use insulin, but I can tell you how I feel when I'm low and how I treat it.

I get dizzy, tired, hungry, and sometimes I talk really fast. I either take 3 glucose tablets or a tube of glucose gel. I don't use cake frosting or candy bars at all (mom says that hypoglycemia is a medical problem and should be treated like a medical problem, not a chance to have candy).

I'm on a pump and I take Novalog insulin.
I know I'm low when I get shaky, tired, feel faint, and weak

I am 17 years old. I am on an insulin pump. I use novolog in it.

When I am low I feel weak, faint and very shaky

When a have low, a feel weak, shaky and my heart beat is fast.

Hi,

My 13-year-old son uses Levemir (like Lantus, but comes in a pen) and NovoRapid. (Hoping to move to a pump soon).

The first sign of him going low is usually that he gets shaky hands. After that the other things kick in: feeling weak, sweaty, and anxious.

I'm 19 and was diagnosed a year and a half ago. I'm on a pump and use novolog. Before that I was on novolog and lantus.
When I'm low I literally feel like my blood is shaking, like it's got the jitters or something. I get dizzy and can't think clearly. I either get hyper and goofy and talk fast or really angry and grouchy. Gotta love those lows! :cwds:

I dont know if you still need info but I will give it any way since I am an odd ball when it comes to low just ask any one who knows me!!!!!

low-- I get violent (throw things) and I act like I dont know where I am

On behalf of my 4 (5 next month) yr old daughter:

I pump with Novolog

When I'm lower than about 70 I feel:
Hungry (number 1 symptom)
Tired
Cranky
Thirsty
Tummy ache

Other times, I've felt nothing at all
