I have one book that is really awsome is "living with diabetes, Nicole Johnson Miss America 1999". I actually WON it at camp when she was there, she autographed the inside cover!!!!:D Its a really good book, and really motivated me about my diabetes.
I also have a book called "487 really cool tips for kids with diabetes" It has really good tips for kids and teens!

I found this on the JDRF website.
There's a couple of books for teens. You have to scroll down.
Most are for younger kids.
There is 'Diabetes at 14' which is autobiographical, from the looks of it.

We have one called Sweetblood. I got it and read it, my kids are too young.
It is pretty good.

i really like Getting a Grip on Diabetes: Quick Tips and Techniques for Kids and Teens ....they are two brothers who were diagnosed when they were 6 and 7 years old...they give some really interesting and useful tips....they use they're own experiences as examples

That book was great. It was one of the first books I bought after I was diagnosed. Sweetblood was pretty good too. I checked that one out of the library.

there is a book called "Return to Skoki Lake" that is pretty good. i read it awhile ago, but its about this girl who goes for a week-long trail ride (on horses) in the Rocky Mountains. and she has all these symptons and it turns out she's diabetic!! so its basically about her diagnosis. its well written and a good read.

I also heard of a book called Needles. Haven't read it yet but theres a bunch of reviews on it on amazon. It's supposed to be about two sisters who are both diabetics.. me and my sister want to read it cause we're both type one. It's supposed to be a true story also.

I have this book and I have read it. It is a memoir. I can't really much about it. I think it was about how she wanted to be just like her older sister and then she gets diabetes too and she is now like her sister and has to take shots.
