Ouch...

So last night we had a late night and I fell asleep on the couch. When I woke up my left arm hurt, loked down and found a lancet sticking out of my arm!:eek: I am thinking Jodi got out of bed and found it somewhere was playing with it(she likes to do that for some reason:confused:) and for some unknown reason put it there. My question is where is the strangest place you have found any diabetes related items.

I'm not sure about strangest place, but I can pretty much say that I can't think of too many places I haven't found things! I think if I really detailed the inside of my car I could come up with about a whole container of used strips! Although my DD is almost 11, she has yet to be able to remember where the trash can is.

I found one of dd used strips stuck to the side of the garbage can where I work. My dd has never been within a mile of that place.

Scooping out the cats litter box, I found a blood sugar strip. A strange place, but wasn't too surprised since "the cat" is always playing with all the supplies when she can get her little paws on them.

Found a test strip inside the pair of tights Ella was wearing. She came to me saying something is in her tights that is bothering her foot. Took a look to find the strip....lol!!

Knowing I could find a handfull of them on the car floor!

Dh thinks the used test strips are breeding when we turn our backs, I only wish the unused ones did it to LOL. I could probably find a strip (or more) in every room of the house if I looked right now.
