:DHello to everyone out there! I am new to this site but am an old Diabetic :rolleyes:. I am 35 now and was diagnosed when I was 6yrs.I have had a fair few "Complications" over the years and I am still trying to tick over. I am also a Mother of two wonderful children(yet they have their moments) they also are diabetic my son of 14 was diagnosed T1 at 17months and my daughter of 17 has been recently diagnosed yet has no title(T1orT2).

I am interested in chatting to anyone out there that may have a similar life of an interest in anything above.

Hi There are many parents on the cwd uk mailing list of t1 children and at least one who is t1 also. I would suggest you open a google mail account which is free and as everything is kept in 'conversations' you don't get an overloaded mail box . You can join here (http://www.childrenwithdiabetes.com/uk/)

Why dont you join the parents on the UK mailing list for a chat. There are also several list members have type 1 diabetes themselves and children with diabetes. More info on here about the mailing list

My daughter is 14 and there are several mums and dads on the list with boys of a similar age
