Today is the day of my kids' school PTA Charity auction that I am in charge of. We have hundreds of donated items up for auction and have sold more tickets than we thought we would:) We are hoping to raise $20,000 - all of which will go to support the programs the PTA sponsors.
This auction has completely taken over my life for the last month and my house is FULL of all the donated items:) My DH just rolls his eyes as he walks past our living room. Well it will all be gone today and I hope the evening goes off w/o a hitch. My dad is also coming up to be the auctioneer - he is a professional aucitoneer and makes the event really fun. So please keep positive thoughts for me tonight (I have to get up and talk in front of the crowd - not something I love to do) and maybe someone will clean my house, that hasn't been cleaned in some time, while I am gone:D.
