I Love this book. I think its a great read for parents of newly dx'd little ones. It hasn't got info on insulin and doses, but focuses more on how to cope with food issues and mealtimes and different age groups.

I agree. I've only "thumbed through" this one, but it has good info for the newly dx'd.
It is written in an easy to read style.
I might loan it to the counselor when my daughter goes to mission camp with our church this summer. The counselors are college girls who work at the camp during the summer.
