Did anyone have burping as a symptom for celiac? There's no explanation for this in my younger son, and it's been 2 weeks. I've not mentioned the celiac to anyone in my family. I so don't even want to pursue any of this. I think I'm going to wait and see... though my son keeps mentioning how annoying this burping is to him. With his other conditions, please please please I hope this is just some freaky thing...

I can't say we have had "burping" as an issue. :) I usually say every symptom can be a symptom of celiac but I wouldn't worry about it yet.

I was very burpy. I also had reflux.

Jenn was very gassy...guess that could be associated with burping though hers came from the south :rolleyes:

For myself personally all of sudden I started to burp all the time and I had and endoscopy and I had gastritis which was causing it, they did a biopsy for Celiac I was negative but both my sons are positive for celiac

I wonder if they have to do an endoscopy to identify gastritis? This burping is out of control.

You (and Todd!) probably don't want to hear this but my guess would be yes but I am no doctor! If he has to have it make sure they medicate him so he feels nothing and remembers nothing!
