hi im Jenny,
its almost been a year that i hav D.
i was Dx on 4/23/07. the day after my big bros bday.
he is 25 . i had a cold in January and i re-covered from it.
a few months past by and i was doing a show. i had 2 leave the show early
cause people thought i had the stomach flu. so i left. the next day came and i was lying in my bed like
nocked out. i woke cause i had 2 through up. my mom called the doc and tried 2 me and tried 2 make me
an appointment. they were really busy that day so they would call us back when they had a free spot. so the called us
and said that they were free. my dad had 2 carry me out and into the car. my parents told me i was a skeleton, and i had red eyes.
we got there and they did tests on me an said that i had a chance of D. so we went 2 the hospital and i was in the ICU. my BG was over 600.
i was in the hospital 4 a week. My doc says i lost about 20 pounds.

now i have the pump and the CGMS. im w/ MM

OMG!!!:eek: I was in the hospital for 3 days but I had lost 19 pounds! The most i weighed was 59 pounds. that was when i was 9.:rolleyes:

OMG i was over 950 my heart stared to hurt to where i was laying on the floor screaming. :eek:
