Has anyone seen or heard of Randy Pausch? He is a dying professor who gave what he calls his "last lecture" and it is an incredible lesson of life and living. He's awesome and inspiring. Primetime on ABC is doing a special on him tonight.....don't miss it!!!

All I can say is: WOW I had a hard time just watching the preview, not sure I could make it through the lecture. To be that strong is amazing.

Wow, how inspiring! What a brave soul. I cried and cried. My Mom passed away of the same things almost 30 years ago.

The show just ended. I am sobbing. I'm glad I saw it but since we lost a friend of the family to this disease it's hard to think of him and his family at the end. It's just so sad.

I am the world's biggest cynic, and I think Randy's message will change that in some measure.

And I WILL be mentioning the advice to teenaged girls ("ignore everything he says and pay attention to everything he does") to my own dear daughter.

I'm so glad he got to hang with the Steelers. That seemed to mean a lot to him.

I agree...that is the best advice. My husband may be a tremendous A$$ sometimes but I fell in love with him when I saw him treat his female friends with the respect and caring I'd only seen in my brothers. There's definitely something to that.

They said at the end of the show that his book is in stores today so if i cant find it this w/e, I checked on Ebay and its there so if Walmart doesnt have it, Im getting it off ebay............also 2 diabetes books I want. It was an inspirational show & Id love to see the lecture but youtube takes forever on my comp.......dial up sucks!

Mine too....its a guy thing lol. But when I saw how he treated his mother, sisters and the female customers ( especially the elderly) in the store we worked in, it made a difference. Its not always what you say but what you do that matters the most. I agree, the best advice!! :)
