Im looking to see if there are any get togethers, fundraisers etc going on at any time in Staten island
Id like for my son to become more involved along with our family.

anyone know links that I should keep an eye on ?

You can call your local JDRF chapter www.JDRF.org

Or possibly your Endo or ped.'s office or the school nurse may know other parents of D kids that you could contact.

Contact your local chapter of JDRF, or google the web page, they'll have any local activities going on. They are always looking for volunteers either to work on the walk, reach out to families or participate in support groups.

Barton Day Camp offered in conjunction with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine offers campers a wildly unique camping experience. Campers explore Manhattan with trips to Central Park, famous museums, and zoos. Arts and crafts, nature, diabetes education, swimming and playing wacky field games are all on the schedule. Education, recreation, and support foster friendships that are remembered for years!
