My 13 year old home schooled daughter got up this morning and we were out the door early to help babysit at church. After we had been there awhile she tested her BG and she was 52. She was really surprised by that number since she had just eaten breakfast. She asked me to go get her a regular Pepsi. She got her number up a little bit before we got home. When we got into the kitchen there was her oatmeal sitting on the counter....she forgot to eat it. Do I really have to remind her to eat breakfast?!?!? I guess so.

The brain just doesn't fire on all its cylinders when they're teens. :p

I have the opposite problem... my 16yo (also hsed) SWEARS he hasn't been grazing and then gasps in amazement when I point out the three apple/pear cores sitting by his books.
