I'm curious. Now that it is coming to summer, we are likely to start our usual round of bike accidents, collisions, falling off the monkey bars etc. :p

What effect does that kind of regular kid injury (not talking broken bones or anything) have on BG?

Thanks in advance
Karen

We've noticed that not too much happens when B has an injury.... She broke her arm when she was 3 and her #'s were pretty normal... She fell on her face and gave herself a waking concussion the other day and her #'s have been great since.....

Her DR did say that the better control of BG, the better you'll heal.... so that's good to know :)

Savannah gets hurt really good about 1 time a year. Mostly head injuries, and just from what I have noticed she will tend to run higher. The endo said that pain would cause her bs's to run a little high. Never like seeing those things happen...uuugghhh!!!
