Hey we have just moved to austin TX and are would like to connect with other parents with children/toddlers with T1. We have one son who has T1 was dx at 16months of age and is almost 3. send me an email. s.pearce78@gmail.

Welcome to Austin. I can't help much as my son is 14, but there are a few folks with toddlers living with diabetes who are aged 3 in town. We were one of them once.
There is a great day camp for Type 1s and siblings in the area -- but your son needs to be 4 to attend. That is where I met the people I know living with diabetes. You may be able to bring your son for a day this year, as long as you attend as well.

We are in Georgetown, north of Austin. Welcome to central Texas! Sam is 16 years old--was he ever 16 months old? :D Seems so long ago!

We live in the Waco area, which is somewhat close to Austin!! I have a 3 yr old with D.
