we've read about and used different glucometers, but this one (http://www.arkrayusa.com/GLUCOCARD_X_METER.html) just ROCKS!
- needs only .3 uL blood (only FreeStyle has this)
- test strips have a 'window' to visually confirm enough blood (freestyle doesnt have it)
- has 'blood volume control' and 'underdosing detection ie. does not show false reading if not enough blood applied
- is 'made of japan'
- test strips not as pricey as aviva
- 5 second test time
- AST
- weighs only 45grams (aviva 60 grams)
- thickness 12mm (thinnest meter in the world)
- sucks the blood into the test strip real fast
- no coding needed
