Info
Hey folks. My name is Michel and I'm from Norway. I am glad I found this forum to discuss children diabetic situations and treatments. I am not personally affected by diabetes, no one in my family has it. Still, I have met quite a few persons with diabetes (particularly children) within the scope of the research study I'm currently pursuing.

Study
We (the research group I am part of) are looking at the possible implementation of a mobile application for children with diabetes. We are particularly interested in reducing the daily effort of the child in managing his diabetic situation and thus improving his quality of life. This application runs on a mobile phone used by the child, and acts similarly to a continuous glucose monitoring system. Also, within other features, the application predicts the upcoming level of glucose in the blood in order to limit, as early as possible, the possibility of hypoglycemia.

Survey
We've set up a survey for parents and children with diabetes, targeted at exploring the treatment processes, flaws, possible improvements as well as means of distribution and adoption of such a mobile application. You and your child are invited to take part in this survey. It takes 5-10 minutes to complete, is totally anonymous and no questions are obligatory. We're also organizing a prize draw for $20 Amazon.com gift cards.
The survey can be accessed at: http://diabetes.foxban.com (diabetes.foxban.com)

I am ready to answer any questions you may have regarding the study.
Feel free to PM me or drop me a line at diabetes@foxban.com
