people think i am contagious!

some people think i am contagious and don't want to be around me.they are scared they might get it too.what am i supposed to do?:(

How old are you? If you're in elementary school, you could have the nurse come and do a demo for your class/grade and explain that you're not contagious, and diabetes is just a part of you now. If the kids liked you before, diabetes shouldn't change it.

And when you get to middle/high school, kids are way better, and think you're super cool and brave because of all the things you have to deal with. :D
