Ok all you moms, I've been up since 3 a.m. and can't think straight anymore today. I just baked Betty Crocker Tripple Chocolate Fudge cupcakes. Mix makes 24 cupcakes. Serving size is 1/12 pkg= 33 g. carbs. So 1/12 of pkg would be 2 cupcakes, 33 carbs, right? Am I thinking right on this? Gotta have chocolate on chocolate cupcakes!!

Sounds right to me.... at least, that's how I would figure it.
Of course if you put frosting on them, you have to "think" some more :D

You're right about the carbs. 1/12 = 2/24 so 1/12 is 2 cupcakes, or 33 carbs. :)

Thanks Kay! Of course there has to be choc. frosting! That's easy 18g. per 2 Tbsp. Way too much for us, I only used 1/2 Tbsp. Basically a freebie.
"CJ, come get some cupcakes!!":)

Even 1 Tbsp would be too much sugar for our taste!

If you have a scale, I have better luck taking the weight of the cupcake and multiply it by .62
So if the cupcake weights 30g (weigh it without the paper- you don't eat that) you mutiply 30 x .62 and that comes out to 18.6 carbs.
If they have mounds of frosting on them (like Walmart cupcakes ) I use .65
If you're pretty easy with the frosting I'd use .60
ENJOY the cupcakes! Sounds delicious!!! :)

Where does the .62 come from?
They didn't teach us "math", just ranges like 15-29 carbs = 1 carb count.
