My son claims his Cozmo 1800 pump is alarming in class "Cartridge Removed" Of Course every time this happens he turns the alarm off before showing an adult. I'm pretty sure I can download the pump info and see alarms. But in the mean time, has anyone else had this happen?

It seems like a pump issue since yesterday it powered down for no reason. I checked the battery cap, and took it off cleaned it up and put it back on, and it took a minute but if finally turned back on. I have replacement caps coming in the mail this week, but it seems like two issues in two days. Something might be wrong.

Thanks for your experiences,

Check his cartridge cap too. I just had to have them send one for Danielle's as it had two places on it that were gouged out and the cap was begining to crack. They overnighted me another cartridge cap because it potentially will affect the delivery of the insulin.

Also, have you checked his serial number against the list of those they recalled last week?

Didn't hear about the recall, but I was just on the phone with them and gave them the serial number, so it better not be!

I'll check it out tonight.

This happened to me a lot when I first started pumping with Cozmo.
But my mom and I figured out that it has something to do with the insulin cartridge.

If I load a cartridge in the pump that the black line around the bottom looks like it is fading away, I always get that alarm. But if the black line around the bottom is dark, I do not get the alarm.

I hope this helps :)

If the alarm happened, it would show up under the "complere history" in the pump. Was the cartridge "turned/locked" into place properly. I know that I have put a cartridge in and not locked it before and we have gotten that alarm.
