Anyone going to the Diabetes uk fam day dolphin centre

Hi, this is my first message on this Forum, I was wondering if anyone is going to the Diabetes UK family day at the darlington dolphin centre. it will be the first time we have gone to one of these sort of thing. my DD is ten and been diagnosed since she was five. it has not been that long since we had the internet installed, i have found more out about my D diabetes and selective mutism than all the time before hand. its a great place to find things out from people who are going through thr same thing as we are.

I live about 10 miles away from Darlington and I haven't heard anything about this. Could you let me know when it is, it is something my family would be interested in.

Hi Angel, sorry I did not reply. have been busy with kids off school.
the family day is on 12th April, at The Dolphin Centre.it is open to families with a childwith Diabetes and their sibblings even grandparents. I recieved the info through the post from Diadetes UK. you have to book places beforehand and there is a £5 per family charge.
