I've been under a fair amount of stress this week, and as a result have eaten several snacks and not bolused for them (I'm on the pump). This is resulting in lots of highs for me, obviously, and I've spent much of this week hanging out around 300.

Part of me isn't bolusing because I'm too busy to deal with a potential low. Part of me because I'm in denial of needing to bolus or how much I'm actually eating (also a problem), and part of the time because I'm genuinely forgetting.

Any help on overcoming this?

I was actually thinking about making myself take corrections via a shot, so I'll learn to remember the bolus the first time and not need to correct. Bad idea?

So there's my confession.

You can try putting your pump in front of you (on the table) while you eat, and don't put it back until you bolus.
If you are worried about getting low try bolusing just a little bit less, rather than not bolusing at all. Sometimes when I am driving a long distance by myself, or some other thing when i absolutely can not go low at all I raise my target and aim to be higher than normal.
I don't know if correcting with a shot would be the greatest idea cause then your pump won't know about it and it won't factor it in to the active insulin/insulin on board.

Good luck! We all know it isn't easy!:cwds:
