I was just watching Millionare. There is a doctor on there who used two life lines on the question...(Or something close to this)
Due to intestional problems, which of these food should someone with Celiac disease not eat.
A. poached eggs B. Can't remember
C. wheat bread D. can't remember either
He did 50/50 poached eggs and wheat bread were left and he STILL had to phone a friend:eek:Yikes

I think that is a question that any one of us on this board would've gotten right.

My husbands favorite line...
What do they call a doctor that graduated last in his class?

Uh huh, that doesn't really surprise me. I feel personally responsible for the fact that there is now one really celiac-educated pediatrician at my HMO, 'cuz she sure wasn't when we started down that road.

Oh my, just watching this here in the East Coast...The guy in the hot seat was NOT a doctor (he was playing around in the chat and saying how he gets restaurant reservations by saying I need a reservation for DR. Cunningham)...but his lifeline IS a doctor and whether he couldn't hear the question clearly or what, it took HIM the full 30 seconds to make the right choice!
LOL

Sorry Heather but I can't tempt bad doctor karma  I wouldn't have caught it but it came on right as I was sitting at the computer and I though he was awfully silly for a doctor!
And yeah Lanae, I've noticed an awful ot of suspected googling lately on that whole phone-a-friend option! (Usually as I was googling it myself.)

I saw on Jeopardy years ago where a man was asked "When an airplane is in level flight, where on the wings is the high pressure?" His answer was on top of the wings however the correct answer is under the wings. What made this odd was that the man was a pilot. You should've seen the DUH look on his face when he thought about it for another second.
