Connor (age 6) had a 100 blood sugar tonight. He really blew me out of the water by telling me that this was only the 2nd time he'd ever had exactly 100 as his blood sugar reading (in 1 1/2 years of having diabetes). I scrolled back through his meter - and he's right! How strange that he remembered that and was excited by that number occurring again. What a memory - I thought it was pretty cool!

Cool, I like weird number stuff like that too...Like when the numbers on the odometer in the car line up:D

I'm glad Connor got the number/math gene from his dad and not from me. Numbers do not excite me - wish they did because is would make diabetes a lot easier for me to understand. I do get excited for sales though - does that count?:)

LOL, sure why not...I get excited about sales too...Especially when I'm doing the selling;)

Don't get me wrong, I don't like Math, just weird number stuff LOL

BTW, Seth had three bg's of 90 in 24 hours...weird

No, the meter does not go back a year and a half. But - my written log books do. And I did scroll through his meter and look through his log books. He really did remember the one other time of 100 exactly. August 3, 2007 at 9:03 a.m.

It actually kind of stunned me. He was coming out of a low of 54, and the 100 was his check after 15 minutes. I thought he was kind of out of it when he said that. It took me a few minutes to register what he had just said, and to start verifying it. I thought, surely he must be mistaken. Nope.
