I used the pens for awhile. Now I use the pump.

When you check your sugar, do you ever use your thumb?

Talk to you soon,

Thundermonkey

HI ya, i'm 11 and new here, i was wondering if we could be friends. if you don't want the pen to hurt, warm up the insulin first and then where you are doing the injection.:):):)

I always take the insuln cartilege out of the pen and put it in before I shoot up using a pen. I also always double check to see what I'm taking as well (ive accidenly taken NPH instead of novorapid)

Hii. I'll be any ones friend. I'm Micki, 13 on the pump. I used to use the pens but then I got the pump. =] The needle for the pump is longer but it's only to insert the site (unless you choose to have the needle). I like it more than the pens. If you have any questions or just wanna know any thing I may be able to help. I've had D for almost 8 years.
