What are the codes for the CGMS sensors or Real Time Insulin pump? I hate insurance companies!!!

being EQUIPMENT, and not PROCEDURES, the HCPCS level two codes apply:
A9276 for the sensors
A9277 for the transmitter
A9278 for the receiver

They became effective on January 1, 2008.

Sorry, I searched after I posted and found them. I had my panties in wad after the last conversation with my wonderful insurance company and my brain was fried. I think I was transfered at least 5times....uuuuuggghhhhhh.:mad:

that's the *OLD* "miscellaneous durable medical equipment" code which we all were using before January 1 of this year. Maybe it is still appropriate for the start-up kit, though, because the start-up kit includes all of the 3 specific components, and each line item must be matched up to ONE code.
