THat was so neat to read- thanks! I like how she says she is happier than she was before diagnosis- like she knows what REALLY matters...I think with type 1, I just don't take as much for granted (though I am human and do take some things for granted! (: )

Maybe she has MODY-maturity onset diabetes y(not sure what the y means) but it has a slow progression

The whole acronym is Maturity Onset Diabetes of the Young. HTH.
