My teenage son was diagnosed with Type1 in March. Since then he's been taking a combo of NPH and Humalog twice a day. Which he likes cause he only really need to take reading 3 or 4 times a day. His reading have been pretty stable and he's reluctant to get a pump because of the constant monitoring. Those with a pump how often do you need to test?
And of anyone has heard of the Omnipod, what have you heard? If your are using it what can you tell us about it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
