I wanted to update all of you on Phoenix's new ratio's and bs's
Since we adjusted his ratio's our night time drops are around 40-50 points and he is staying in the 110-160 range for the most part. I was confused as to why we didn't lower the lantus but I am now seeing that his ratio's were off by a bit. We had also just moved his injection spot. And Childrens also told the school nurse that she IS to do the Correction factor for any bs over 180 and NOT to wait till he is over
350. They also explained to her that if he is >350 to only do 1/2 of the correction factor since it could be from a rebound and the correction factor isnt all that correct when bs's are that high. I think this is also helping.

Thank you to everyone who gave me support on trying to figure this all out.. I appreciate all of you and all your opinions!!

glad to hear that things are improving and hopefully the nurse's have straightened out that school nurse! I hope things continue to go in the right direction for him!:)
