Really big breakthrough

Now, this will seem strange to most, I'm sure, but Maddie has been an absolutely dedicated forearm BG tester. Fingersticks have been the only point of D mgmt that she has point blank refused to have anything to do with since dx.
Well, today that wall came down! :D
We got the pelikan sun back in Dec and she was still afraid of it but for some reason when I suggested we use it today she agreed.
This is huge for us as her poor forearms just look awful! While our endo didn't really seem concerned about to accuracy issue of arm testing, she was worried about damage to a favorite poke site on Maddie's right arm.
I'm so, so happy!

Never heard of forearm testing, by the way...learn something new everyday!

That's great, we use both arms and fingers depending on the situation...I believe the differance is that the finger is about 10 minutes faster than the arm...:cwds:
