A market research study is looking for caregivers (parents) of children with type 1 diabetes. If you live in the areas of Fort Lauderdale, FL, San Diego, CA, or Dallas, TX you may qualify for this study

If you qualify, you will be asked to attend a 45-60 minute interview at a research facility in your area. For your time and to defray any expenses that you may incur, an honorarium of $100 will be offered for the in-person interview.

The topic of discussion is type 1 diabetes educational materials. At no time will confidential information (e.g., your last name, phone number, etc.) be divulged to the client. All information that you provide will be held in the strictest of confidence

I phoned the Ft. Lauderdale location and spoke with someone. I asked up to what age could the child be for the caretaker to participate. The woman told me up to 14 because after 14 they figure the kid "can take a pill on his own" :eek:. Needless to say I gave her some thoughts and hope I educated the people asking the questions in this study.

Oh my God, you have GOT to be kidding me. Sounds like they need a study alright.
