I was testing Deacon at 4 a.m. and he was fast asleep. Throughout this entire testing he stayed fast asleep. I took his hand from under his body but then he rolled over. I said, "Deacon test time." and he flung his index finger behind his back toward me. He heard the beep that the Flash emits when it begins a test, he sat up and said "I want to see the green light." (He loves looking at the backlight.) When I showed him the meter, I saw that his eyes were completely shut. When the meter beeped again to show the number, he said, "Thank you." and lay back down.
ROFL!! It was just so funny in its own way. I am going to remember this story for a long time.

That is too funny!!!!:D
One night my DH went to test at 2am and Jr "woke up"... my DH said "time to test, give me a hand"... Jr started clapping with a little grin on his face!!! He didn't even remember doing it the following morning. He thought it was pretty funny when DH told him! It's amazing that the mind keeps going like that!
That's too funny. Could he tell you his bg reading in the morning???????:D I bet the light was "bright" enough for him to see through his eyelids......at 4am it WOULD seems bright enough!;)

That is cute. I know some nights when I check Phoenix he asks me to show him his number and he is fast asleep snoring. LOL to cute.

That is funny! I love/hate that Westin can drink a juice box and never wake up! So sad! (like mentioned in another recent thread)

Deacon is 3 so he doesn't remember anything about his numbers. He can't even recall whether I tested him or not that night. Yes that green light can be bright.
