Why you should always double-check meter readings

I got a reading a 3 hours after dinner that was weird. But, Emma has been going UP between 2 and 3 hours recently, so I wasn't too, too surprised. But, I decided to check it again, just in case.

The first reading I got was 290 (she was 233 an hour earlier)
The second and third readings were 198 and 196

So, I don't know WHY her first one was so off, but I'm quite glad that I decided to check it again - and now I'll remember to take it twice any time I think the reading is suspicious.

we double check any odd readings too.. she probably had a spec of something on her tiny fingers..

Yeah anytime I get a reading I'm not expecting I double check to make sure and alot of times it changes on the 2nd reading, sometimes not :eek: If the reading is higher than I think it will be I make sure to wash his finger again, just to make sure. Dry ice cream reads "HI" on the freestyle flash.lol Real friendly it is.
