Hi Everyone. I've been scanning some diabetes totes on the internet, but I would like to get first hand opinions. I need a sturdy tote to lug Hunter's diabetes supplies around w/ a shoulder strap. I'm looking for something w/ pockets, elastic holders, ice pack holders, insulin pockets and an extra pocket for the folder I keep track of all of his meals in. I also would like it to be inexpensive. Maybe something that would carry supplies for at least a day trip. Any suggestions? I checked out the bags on CWD links, but can't seem to get really close up images.
Thanks

MedPort makes diabetes cases that hold tons of stuff in them. They make one for daily items, and one for travel. They used to make a 3 in 1 Organizer, but they stoped making it. Once in a while, you can find the 3 in 1 organizer on Ebay.

Here's a website that sells them for a low price:
www.diabeticpromotions.com

This website also sells Dia-Pak carrying cases, which hold a lot of stuff too, and come with a shoulder or waist strap/belt. This companies cases are more expensive than MedPort's.

Hi,
I don't have one myself, but someone told me that she uses a small 35mm camera bag. It's padded, has pockets inside and a sturdy handle, and the padding serves as insulation. We use a 2-piece isulated fabric lunchbox; the bottom zips off and is "sandwich size", so just right for insulin and a small ice pack. The top part holds snacks, juice box, meter, an dinjection supplies....It's not the best solution, but until I find "just the right one" too, it's working out OK.

Good luck!:)

Check out fifty50pharmacy.com, they have large and small supply bags that are made just for kids. They also sell the matching pump pouches and medic alert bracelets.
