Hi I was diagnosed with Diabetes 8/8/07 16 days before my birthday{:eek:.** It isn't so bad I get to have diet soda when ever I want. But I* can't have to much food like pbj.

i have been diabetic for like 4 years and its a lil bit annoying i can drink diet pepsi when i ever i want too but food..now thats a real issue :mad:but hey we will be skinny !!! :D u use the shots right ??

Yes I take 3 shots a day with the pen and 1 syringe shot at night. Do you mind the shots?

why do you only change the needle once a week?? I changed mine every time when i did shots.

I have a pump and change my injection site every three days

i have a pump right now but i use the shots when ever my ketons are very high also my mom has to change my site no mater what.I have to change my site every 3 days i have the Animas pump i love it so much i dont care about shots they dont hert at all nether do the sites. I use numbing cream for sites it helps.
