The audio interview with Dr. David White, Professor of Xenotransplantation at the University of Western Ontario, is now available for listeners.
In the interview conducted by James Finch of Stockinterview.com, Dr. White discusses the primary causes and effects of diabetes as well as the work being done through xenotransoplantation in an attempt to restore those affected back to health.
Through the use of animal-to-human transplants, Dr. White believes that there could be a viable means to treat an individual who suffers from Type II or Type I diabetes. This could be achieved through the use of pig cells.
Dr. White discusses the procedure involving pig cells and the favorable results that have been reached thus far.
