I started a new sensor this am after I accidently pulled out her other sensor, on day 7, last night when I went to recharge it.. I calibrated, she was high.. but started to come down.. I checked her with the meter, she was in the upper 200s, sensor said 'above 400'.. so I calibrated down to 300 because I knew if I went lower I'd get a cal error.. so she was just alarming again, about 300.. so I checked with the meter 124????? WTH is going on?? ISIG is poor, usually if I have a 300 reading its way up in the 40s.. right now its in the upper 20s lower 30s.. could be a bad sensor?? at what point should I call MM.. i pay for these things out of pocket, and don't want to waste one..
getting frustrated I'm still mad at myself for pulling out yesterdays on accident..

I would turn it off until I had stable readings and start again.

I try not to calibrate over 225 (though sometimes I do, if I really need at least some data / alarms.) But usually if over 225 I check the ISIG, clear METER BG messages as they come, and just wait until the BG is in better range and the ISIG shows things are stable.
We just had one with a similar wacky start and I did as Westin's mom said and just turned it off for awhile and did a fresh start when things were really stable.

I would also suggest turning it off until more stable. I do calibrate when high as long as he is stable. Those isigs don't sound like a bad sensor to me. It is not uncommon for us to be off by quite a bit occasionally on a new sensor, especially if he is having erratic numbers. It usually evens out after getting several good calibrations entered. However, with a disparity of over 100 points, I would turn it off for a while. I hate to turn it off ever, but I don't like looking at readings that I can't trust either.

I ended up just hitting 'start new sensor' and entering the 124.. its been dead on since:) with good ISIG numbers.. :)
