It hurts a little bit when you first put the site in but after that it barely even hurts. It takes time to get use to it but you will like it much better than shots!

cool. the siluet set is the most dangrous becaus it can crumble under
your skin and you wont get insulin if you tell it too and that means you
numbers would go to the heavens:eek:

can you unhook yours ???

yes i can unhook but i only unhook it for taking showers, going swimming, or when i play volleyball.

yup some of them u cant unhook like the omnipod but its water proof
so it sounds like you can go swimming under water with but the minimed pump
can to and they still make u unhook for swimming and taking showers
so the omnipod would not seem like a good choice unless you hate
swiming and never take showers.

I used the Quick sets when I used the Minimed Paradigm. You'll like them.

I don't think you can wear the MiniMed in the water, at least mine you couldn't. Plus, you wouldn't want to. Be FREEEEE in the pool. :D

I went to the lake once and i accidentally went into the water with my pump on and i was in thier for like 5 min. until i relized i didnt take it off but it still worked but it still doesnt mean i swim with it on.

It hurts when the insulin goes in if you have a bad site. It also hurts when you have to put the set in but you can ask your doctor for numbing cream witch helps a ton.

Pumps r so much easier and the cream makes them not hurt at all . that is what zeb says.
