hi i'm jayden. i'm new here. i just got dianosed with [tipe 1] diabetes. does any one do any sports what sport do you do?do you where a pump or just get shots. i get shot is it better to have a pump or to get shots in any occasion sports or not sports i do gymnastics so i'm in a leotared all the time. do you now what gymnastics is i relly don't like teling other npeople do you like alot of people to now well i hope i make some friends dose any one want to be pen pals well i'm 9 1/2 how old are you well bye i hope a make some good friends here well wish you well

Im Raya and im 13 i've been diabetic for like 4 years now i do sports 5 days a week i do sit-ups and push-up all my friends know that im diabetic and they dont bother me about it they actually forgot they same hour that i told them that im diabetic i use shots i really wanna try the pump and i hope we will be friends

I'm Maddie. I'm 12 and have had diabetes for 8 1/2 years. I'm a dancer. I dance 5+ hours a week plus I have PE everyday at school. I am on the pump. I went on it when I was 7. I wear a leotard all the time too, but I disconnect the pump for some of my dance classes (ballet). The others I either put it in my pocket or wear a pump pouch (the tubing sticks out of my leotard but no one notices). All my friends know - even non-friends. No one seems to notice and like Raya said, they forget after about an hour.

My sister is 9 1/2 - she will be 10 in two weeks. :)

I'm 6 (so mum is typing this) I do untethered, which means I have a pump but do lantus too and I can unhook as much as I want. It's cool 'cos I can swim and play without being on my pump all the time. If I want to eat I just put it back on then I take it off again. I don't have to sleep with it on. I only wear my pump for about half an hour a day but my numbers are really good.
