The endo got the blood work back. He called as said she got a number of 220. I know they ran a IGA and Tissue Transglutaminase test on her. I didn't have brain power at the time to ask what this number went to which test. What is abnormal versus normal. I know we will going to the gastro as soon as they call. Any thoughts?

Without knowing the reference ranges - it's hard to tell. It sounds pretty high for either of those tests...but again...without the ranges...
Good luck with the docs!

Alyssa's TTG from the hospital was 111 which her endo said was very positive and may indicate celiac. She told me norm was 4! We will know for sure after they do the endoscope. I am still holding out hope that her number was high was other reasons like a food allergy or b/c of the diabetes. I know this is a small chance but it keeps me going right now. I know from reading some of the other posts on different websites by parents that some children's TTG levels were only like a 10 or 17 and they were diagnosed. Maybe it depends are the child. Good luck.
