I have realized that record keeping with a pump is much more of a challenge for me than it was with shots. I HAD to keep track of everything with shots and now that the pump does much of the "keeping track" I just don't stop everything and write it all down anymore. It makes it tough to make changes.

The software that comes with the Cozmo pump is useless to me for record keeping. At the time that we were shopping for pumps it didn't matter because I was writing everything down already and I assumed it would just follow on that way. I was wrong.

Does anybody here know of a place to buy software that will take the information from the pump? I am really computer challenged so please keep that in mind.

Thank you for your help.

Lynn

If the CozManager software extention is not already on the Cozmo website, it should be soon. You can download the Co-Pilot, (you can DL the Co-Pilot from the Abbot website) and the CozManager extention and it will do the record keeping for you. It will format BG, insulin, carb amounts, etc into a logbook fashion.

If you use the Freestyle meter, you can also download that info and it will put it all in one report.

You should really look into the copilot. We have the new software for the cozmo and the information I get out of that is absolutely wonderful. The new software lets you upload the basal rates, correction, everything. If you do not have the new software yet, you can still use the copilot and upload bg numbers. If you do not have a cable for the freestlye meter you can always upload on your own and put in little notes and such.

hope that helps

That is wonderful news!!! Thank you both so much. I do use the Freestyle meter so I think I will call and order a cable for that.

I love the help I can get here.
